Our Process

Not sure what to expect? At Carolina Custom Cabinetry, we are sure to give you a simple process to reach your goals!

Step 1

At Carolina Custom we strive to make the first meeting with a new client as easy as possible. If blueprints or drawings are available, that is always a good place to start in the design process. Sometimes an onsite meeting is necessary  for getting a good visual and taking measurements.

Step 2

Once we have an idea of what the client is looking for, we try to give the most accurate pricing possible and start on shop drawings. By producing a full set of cabinet drawings, the client is able to see in 3D and 2d what their new space will look like.

Step 3

We then finalize the drawings and setup scheduling. It is very common to go through multiple revisions. We want to make sure that everything is perfect before we start construction. We strive to always let our clients know as far in advance as possible when we will be able to start their project, as well as when it will be complete.

Step 4

Once we have finalized the drawings and ironed out all the details of the project, we require a sign off and deposit to cover the cost of materials.

Step 5

After the construction of the cabinets has been competed, installation begins. We know that many other stages of the project rely on the cabinet install. So we always do our very best to work with your contractor or project manager to schedule installs, as well as complete them in a timely manner.

Step 6

As the project is finishing up, we come back to adjust all the cabinet doors and drawers, as well as install all of the cabinet hardware. Under most circumstances, the client or contractor is in charge of getting the hardware, and having it onsite for us to install.
